We would like to thank all our customers who helped get Oma's started and then helped closed us out. We have enjoyed helping you with your gardening needs. Everything has been moved and the building has been sold. The place looks neglected especially when you don't keep up with the weeding. The new owner is not a gardener.
Nick is in school to learn a new trade and will be through this month. Irmi, Krista and Caleb have been helping us get Daudehaus back together. Krista started a new job this week working as a teaching assistant at a local church school and Caleb will start back to school next week. Can't believe the summer is over it went so fast. Ten years of neglect takes time to get everything back under control if that is ever possible. We are making progress the plants are looking great, with the rain ( two inches in less than an hour Saturday) and lots of compost tea. The weeds are under some control. We have started the fall vegetable garden. Tomatoes, okra and peppers from last spring are still producing. The cats Anna, Trouble and Sam have adjusted to their new home. Ava and Tigger the resident cats are still working on adjusting to the strangers. Mostly they just hiss at each other. We are making compost tea and will have extra to sell at $10 for three gallons. Bring your own jugs. Daudehaus is at 1523 Daude a few blocks west of the nursery. When Daude Avenue dead ends follow the gravel road to house. We are here most days but can not always answer the phone call 254-289-9800 and leave a message and we will call you back. Always glad to answer any question about gardening and help find the organic products and plants you need. If you have and information to share let me know and I will post it.
